I think so, they are the same style. Though the scent is quite different to those two especially compared to the azzaro. Paco Rabbane is more green aromatic, more pine, less on the lavender that the other two have.

hey, I find the EDT it little more brighter, and not as dense, it projects better for me. The EDP feels richer, it lasts longer but doesn't push out as much as the EDT. I prefer the EDT. The EDT feels like a classic gentlemany scent for the spring/summer. Jaipur, I've only tried the EDT, and it's a totally different scent to the Pour Homme. Jaipur is a vanilla and spice classic for the nights in winter/autumn.

Muhammed thank you for your comment and sharing your experiance with Caron pour un homme. Ah that's interesting regarding the drydown, I wonder if it's the musk? I read some people mention the musk in the drydown on fragrantica. I didn't get any of the musk in the drydown, it was just this gorgeous and pleasing vanilla, backed by lavender. Maybe it's my skin chemistry, or maybe the new formulations don't have the musk (due to regulations) - so maybe worth a revisit for you? Le Troisieme Homme is a beauty, you inspired me to wear it today as my SOTD, a review of it will come soon :)

@@HandsomeSmells I still need to smell the current formulation to compare😄 but i often hear from trusted noses that the new flacon is also a worthy version. I also heard that JJCoulbourne said the old one has a more 80s smell and the new one a more timeless smell to it, dew to old and new materials. Greetings from Germany

Heard lots of great things on the Un Pour Homme Sport flanker, sadly they discontinued it :( Yatagan is a gorgeous little beast, which tames alot in the drydown. Sadly performance lets it down, but its beaut nevertheless!

Thank you Samuel for your ever present support and kind comments on the channel, really appreciate the sentiment. I agree regarding how things have changed on youtube when it comes to talking about fragrances - sadly it's gone down the commerical/sponsored route where newbie's are pushing trash fragrances for clicks/views and gaining monetary via affiliate links. Sadly even a few of my favourite oldie reviewers have gone down the influencer route, as it generates more clicks and the YT algorithm supports this type of content. Sadly, the result being many of the hobbiest/passion led channel see a massive decline in impressions/views from say 7-10 years ago for the same content they release today. Many of the viewers of this type of content are also put off watching reviews on youtube (save for a few of their favourite channels) which also contributes to the decline in views. This snowballs into less and less of passion/hobbiest fragrance reviewing on youtube, with new generation of reviewers also following the influencer route, trying to be the next 'Jeremy Fragrance' rather than the next 'Robes08' so to speak. There are still a number of channels which cater to the hobbiest/passion audience, and as long as these carry on - hopefully there will be a brighter future for talking about fragrances on YT, maybe there will be a split community between influencers and hobbiest/passion fragcomm on YT. Now about fragrances! Yes you're totally right, Russain Oud II is gorgeous, it was my scent of the day on Eid - it's a stunner!

@HandsomeSmells i bought the sample set but there wasn't any that really stood out as must buys. Creme de la creme and probably paradise soil were my favourites. Royal barn was too animalic for my taste but had a nice drydown.reminded me a little of dior leather oud which i prefer.forbidden flower wasn't bad either as a citrusy floral frag but a bit expensive for what it is. Didnt take too well to the others

Eid Mubarak my brother. Russian Oud 2 is my sotd, incredible chocolatey oud. Ottoman Empire is phenomenal!

​​@@HandsomeSmellsNice mA...funnily enough it was my sotd yesterday where I only sprayed once on the back of my hand whilst we did a last min shop to Asda. On our way out, the wind had picked up a little and we walked past this muslim couple before reaching the car.As i got in, we both were like, did you just smell that, its soo goood. I thought we were talking about the couple but my wife was like no its you. Lo and behold, wife and me smelled the back of my hand and confirmed it was the russian oud 2..Caramelised chocolatey oudddness 😂!! It reinforced my belief, that oud of a certain kind just smells so much better in the cold than the heat.

haha that's hilarious! Yeah agreed some oud just shines in the winter!
